Some of my previous designs and brief history
My Knife

Requirements:
1) Small enough to fit in pocket
2) Cheap, replaceable sharp blade
3) Easily change blade, with common tools such as screwdriver
4) Method to keep blade safe when not in use
5) Roller bearing to aid smooth cutting of straight lines
6) Blade cover, magnetically attached, not 100% happy with this method.

From Left to right
1) Laser cut perspex blanks, i liked this one but laser takes a long time to cut, and cant cut blind holes only through holes.
2) 1st 3D printed (FDM), 2 part design, bolted together with M3 screws and nuts, not happy with edge distances of holes to perimeters.
3) Same as previous, tried to melt nuts into plastic casing, not happy with appearance, thinking of trying threaded brass inserts, but makes the holes even bigger, which means the case would have to grow to allow for them.
4) One Piece printed case, worked well, but very hard to remove the support material for the slot where the blade slides in, took ages, looking at having a blank metal spacer, but need to stop the print install it and then resume printing.
5) Current prototypes, gone back to 2 pieces, but glued together this time, good result, need time to evaluate the longevity of the bonded surfaces.
Concern if the glue fails could be a nasty accident.

Treasure Chest for my Niece, made out of 1.5mm thick plywood, separate planks with wood grain laser engraved.
I did furnish it with aged hinges and clasp, red velvet lining but unfortunately did not take a photo of the finished item.

Laser cut panels for a tea light holder

My Daughter is mad on Friday 13th, laser cut the profiles out then cut the profile out on red perspex and glued in place.
